Title: World Peace – what is it? How do you achieve it?

Workshop leader: Carola Gerhard (Priest)
Description:
How can peace come about? And what is the opposite of peace? Is it war? A look into one’s own soul can reveal—even though everyone probably thinks they want peace—how difficult it is to find it and to bring it about. How does peace come about, and what prevents people from achieving it? What contribution can each individual make to peace? “The path of peace is the path of truth” (Mahatma Gandhi). We want to explore the question of peace based on our ideas and concepts of money, possessions, and development.

Title: Social Threefolding and associative economy
Workshop leader: Paula Kiefer
Description:
When we look at the world, we can be overcome by a sense of powerlessness in the face of the great problems of our time. For example, it is easy to despair that we humans continue to destroy our environment day after day, even though we know better. In this workshop, I would like to explore with you how politics and the economy are so intertwined that they are actually incapable of addressing problems like the climate crisis. Through the ideas of social threefolding, we will try to understand the causes of this failure and untangle these knots so that we can find new ways for humanity to work together. For nearly three years, I have been studying this Social Threefold Order in a group of young people and have found that it gives me the courage and hope to approach the problems of our time in a different way. I would like to share this experience with you. There will be a few introductory talks from me, but also time for group discussion.

Title: Authentic Masculinity

Workshop leader: Laurenz Brunner
Descriptioin:
How do we actually form our idea of what it means to be a man? With this question in mind, I would like to warmly invite you to my workshop. Together, we will embark on a personal and honest exploration of masculinity.
In an open and supportive setting, we will explore this question. We will discover who and how we want to be – for ourselves, for others and in the world. We will also have time to find ways to deal with our feelings in the long term, to make sense of them and to name them. My name is Laurenz Brunner, I am 23 years old and a trainee watchmaker. In my experience, personal development is a communal endeavour. I would like to create a space here for every participant to develop their own healthy understanding of masculinity. In this way, we can grow together in this aspect of our personality during the conference.

Juggling is such a fascinating activity! It’s fun just to watch someone juggle, but it’s really only truly enjoyable once you can do it yourself.
But how exactly does it work? In this workshop, we’ll get together and learn juggling and other tricks. Everyone is welcome—whether you are ready to enjoy learning or are already an enthusiastic juggler. We’ll start with very simple exercises and then work our way up to more and more tricks and stunts, and of course get to know each other and have a great time together. Maybe we’ll even manage to put together a little juggling show that we can then present? We look forward to seeing everyone who enjoys juggling with us!
