Ikigai contains out of the syllables “iki” and “kai”. “iki” originates from the verb “ikiru”and means “to live” or “life”. “kai” means as much as “worthfull” or just “worth”. Depending on the context they have different meanings.
生き”iki” can mean: Life, Birth, Everyday
甲斐 “kai” can mean: Worth, worthfull
